The JFM team received a very criptic email from an anonymous blogger who goes by the name of Jamie who. He sent us a link to his blog with his take on our market (amongst others). After being a little sceptical we read the post and then spent the rest of the day reading the rest of the blog. What a refreshing find, the writing is clever, funny and most importantly it comes across how much this blogger knows about food and all that goes with it. In a world where everyone has an online voice it is great to find something that stands out. Thanks for the review and please next time you are at the market reveal yourself.

Speaking of the market, we have a number of exciting events coming up from great book launches to first birthday parties. The weather and the market are both hotting up and as always we look forward to seeing you there.
For those having difficulty finding us we are in the shaded parking area of the popular Parktown North Quarter. There is ample parking both in the centre and directly across the road. click here for directions
“During my lifetime I have dedicated myself to this struggle of the African people. I have fought against white domination, and I have fought against black domination. I have cherished the ideal of a democratic and free society in which all persons live together in harmony and with equal opportunities. It is an ideal which I hope to live for and to achieve. But if needs be, it is an ideal for which I am prepared to die”.
